Salary: Up to £90,000 + 15% Bonus

We are partnered with a global retailer looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join their Payments Team. You will be part of a new greenfield project with a fantastic opportunity to become a key player in transforming the way the world shops and transacts. The Payments Team offers an exciting journey where your skills and ideas can truly make a global impact, redefining the retail payment experience.

Location: Central London, hybrid 2 days per week onsite.

Requirements:

• Proven expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Strong command of AWS for cloud-native development.
• Knowledge of Kafka.
• Exposure to .NET (beneficial).

Tech-Focused Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize Java-based applications for maximum performance.
• Implement Microservices architecture to enhance scalability and maintainability.
• Leverage Spring Boot to build efficient and robust software components.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
