Senior DevOps Engineer - Startup - GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform

Oliver Bernard are currently working with a London based startup who are looking to take on a Senior DevOps Engineer as their first Senior / Platform hire.

As the first hire in this space, the incoming engineer will be key in building and scaling their platform in a greenfield manner, whilst advocating for DevOps best practices and instilling a strong DevOps / Platform driven culture.

This opening presents a great opportunity for someone with experience at Senior or Lead level that wants to own a function / process, and has experience building a platform from scratch as part of early stage growth within a startup environment.

To be a suitable candidate for this position, the following experience is required:

• Strong history of working with GCP Cloud
• Container experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• History of utilising Terraform for IaC
• Capable building Monitoring / Observability processes (with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog etc)
• Able to be Autonomous and operate as a sole engineer within a team
• Knowledge of Data and Security is also a big bonus

This position is fully remote (for UK based candidates) and can offer £90-110K, plus benefits, for the right engineer.
